Join us on September 14 for a pre-picnic field trip in the Hartford basin and a late afternoon picnic on the grounds of Dinosaur State Park. On the field trip, Paul Olsen will guide us through a series of stops in the Hartford basin that illustrate concepts he discussed during his talk at last year's annual meeting. At the picnic, we will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the company of like-minded geologists. The GSC will be providing the picnic fare.
SUMMARY: This year the annual late summer picnic will be preceded by a field trip in the Hartford basin led by Paul Olsen. You can sign up for the field trip, the picnic, or both. Details below.
